My journey and practice began in my grandmother’s garden.

In the garden, all the elements gather to generate and nourish life, and as a child I remembering helping my grandmother plant and water seeds into the fertile loam.

Through a connection with the art and poetry of the natural world, I became deeply interested in metaphysics, and at age 17, I purchased my first Tarot deck (The Goddess Tarot). I continued to follow this thread and was led to apprentice with a metalsmith at the Institut National des Arts in Bamako, Mali.

During this time, I had the privilege of traveling throughout West Africa, including Dogon Country, Mopti, and Timbuktu. At age 20, I learned to transform raw metal at the forge, and witnessed firsthand how alchemy can thread into everyday life.

Through the generosity of people sharing their sacred stories, and allowing me to get to know their homelands, I came to understand how spiritual and religious rituals are fundamentally entwined with mysticism and magic.

Since that first trip, I’ve had the privilege to travel to South Africa, Mozambique, Japan, and Saskatchewan.

Following several years of travel, I lived in Chicago where I worked as a community organizer and began studying the healing arts. After fives years, I moved to Texas to earn a masters in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. From 2018-2026 I ran a successful private practice, and have since made the transition to a full-time consulting astrologer.

For over 20 years, I’ve continued to weave metaphysical and somatic-based practices together in my work as a consulting astrologer, contemplative artist, and licensed acupuncturist.

I am a life-long student of eco-feminism, cosmology, and metaphysics. My journey has allowed me to learn from amazing wisdom keepers, first and foremost my ancestors, elders, children, and more than human kin. I am also grateful for the teachings of Dr. Qianzhi Jamie Wu, Dr. Nelson Song Luo, Dr. Shengyan Grace Tan, Dr. Yongxin Fan, Dr. Yaoping Violet Song, Dr. Sonia Tan, Kelly Surtees, Chris Brennan, Caroline Casey, and Virginia Rosenberg.
